This Alfa GT Junior is an original UK right drive car that was subjected to a nut and bolt full restoration by Le Riche (Jersey) in 2008. Bodywork - Fully undersealed and painted with Bilt Hamber cavity wax and clear coat wax overcoat. GTA push buttons/handles installed along with rear number plate holder and light fitments.
Engine - Fast road 2 litre engine built by renowned NORD expert Alan Bennett in 2019 with a 10.4 compression, forged pistons, lightened and balanced crank and rods, uprated valve train, Jim Evans high lift cams resulting in a power output near 150BHP. New Dell Orto twin 40 Carbs, Facet red top fuel pump, Alfaholics solid alloy carb mounts, Alfaholics full stainless exhaust system including (cermacoated) manifold. The tuning was then finished with the Alfaholics ignition advance curve to give great fast road pick up.
Suspension, brakes and Wheels - Alfaholics full fast road suspension with adjustable camber and castor arms, poly bushes, Koni sports dampers and a full alignment of the suspension carried out in 2021. Uprated front brakes fitted with fast road front discs and pads, high boiling point DOT4 fluid. The alloys are again Alfaholics 14” finished in gunmetal and fitted with Toyo Proxes CF2 road tyres.
As you scan through the above you will see this has been a no expense spared labour of love to create what is a superb “on the button” Italian classic. This is a wonderful homage to the Alfa GTA Autodelta developed for motorsport in the 1960’s. It certainly fulfils the “Alleggerita” (lightweight), no fuss nature of the GTA with a sparse interior and a great driving spirit.
