We are delighted to offer this stunning and extremely rare Porsche 924S Le Mans which was one of 74 UK cars (37 black/37 white) built for the 1988 model year to celebrate Porsche's 12th outright victory at Le Mans. The Le Mans featured an uprated 160BHP engine, sports suspension comprising; larger front and rear anti-roll bars, a lower ride height, stiffer springs and revised dampers, cloth covered Turbo sports seats with turquoise pinstripes and piping, silver Teledial wheels with matching turquoise accents.
This car is rarer still having been the subject of a full restoration in 2016 by Porsche Centre Colchester as part of a competition to celebrate 40 Years of Transaxle Porsches. The car has covered only 1100 miles since 2016 and remains in superb condition.
A 110-page file of photographs complied by Porche Centre Colchester during the restoration accompanies the car, along with a new service book and owners' manual. The original engine and gearbox were retained with the only deviation from standard specification being the fitting of a Porsche retro-styled infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation.
The car has also had considerable recent expenditure including a service by a local Porsche specialist together with paint correction and CARPRO ceramic coating by our in house detailing team.
Excellent opportunity to acquire an extremely rare Porsche in stunning restored condition.
